Today we reported that Samsung has already sold 1 million flexible Galaxy Fold smartphones, which is an impressive achievement for such an expensive and specific device.


More precisely, the president of Samsung Electronics spoke about the achievement, so this is not some third-party data. However, they still turned out to be erroneous. A source, referring to a representative of Samsung, claims that in fact the Korean giant has not yet overcome the mark of 1 million sold by Galaxy Fold. It is assumed that the president of Samsung Electronics simply confused the real sales figures with the previously stated goal of Samsung, because the company initially just said that it intends to sell up to 1 million Galaxy Fold by the end of the year.

Unfortunately, Samsung did not provide real sales data, so it is unclear how far the company is from this very goal.
